About Us

Dow Magazine is an independent online magazine. We publish stories, explainers and practical guides across six sections — Lifestyle, Technology, Health & Wellness, Business, Travel and Entertainment — for readers who want useful reading without the noise.

What we publish

Most of what you will find here falls into three kinds of article. Guides walk you through something step by step, from building a morning routine to budgeting a small business. Explainers take a topic everyone is talking about — artificial intelligence, a health claim, a cultural trend — and set out what is actually known. Stories and essays look at how people live and what is changing around them.

Our editorial standards

  • Plain language first. If a sentence needs to be read twice, we rewrite it.
  • Checked before published. Facts, figures and health claims are verified against reputable sources before an article goes live, and we say clearly where evidence is mixed.
  • No invented details. We do not publish fake statistics, fake quotes or fake experience. If we have not tested something ourselves, we do not pretend we have.
  • Corrections are honest. If we get something wrong, we fix the article and note the correction.
  • Reading experience matters. No clickbait headlines the article cannot honour, and no headline that promises what the page does not deliver.

How the magazine is organised

Every article belongs to one of our six sections, listed in the menu at the top of the page. The homepage carries the latest articles, the editor’s picks and the newest piece from each section, so a returning reader can catch up in a couple of minutes.

Get in touch

Corrections, suggestions and story ideas are welcome — the fastest way to reach us is the contact page. We read everything, even when we cannot reply to everything.
